A Vibrant Celebration of New Beginnings
On Thursday, 13 October, Seaton Estate hosted its very first Seaton Street Party to celebrate the official property transfers in Precinct D. This exciting milestone was marked with a fantastic evening of music, food, and community spirit, as Seaton’s freshly tarred roads came to life with energy and excitement.
The street party was a perfect blend of great food, lively music, and wonderful people. Homeowners who recently completed their property transfers were welcomed with open arms, as the event encouraged residents to mingle, meet new neighbours, and make lasting memories in their new community.
Food, Fun, and Festivities
Thanks to the incredible food trucks on-site, attendees had their choice of mouth-watering dishes, including lamb rolls, boerie rolls, and classic burgers. For those with a sweet tooth, popcorn, candyfloss, and ice cream were a big hit among both kids and adults alike.
Live Music & Family Fun at Seaton
The festivities were made even more special by the live musical performance of Rowan Stewart, who played a mix of his own tunes and popular covers. The kids were especially excited, zooming up and down the street on their scooters, bikes, and skateboards, enjoying the family-friendly atmosphere that Seaton is known for.
A unique highlight of the evening was the tree planting ceremony, where each attending family was invited to plant and label a tree to mark their new beginning at Seaton. This symbolic act of planting roots served as a visual representation of each family’s growing legacy within this beautiful estate.
The Lambie Family Joins the Celebration
The Lambie family, who recently received word of their own property transfer that very morning, were part of the festivities. Pat and Kate’s boys enjoyed the event immensely, with Jackson particularly excited about planting their family’s tree.
Kate, known for her love of gardening, is looking forward to watching their Red Milkwood tree grow alongside their family over the years.
